Welcome to Brian Kim's humble site of learnings! The name of this blog is inspired by the book Thinking, Fast and Slow. It specifically refers to the latter system of thinking, System 2, which is more deliberate but slower. As a result, I take a moment to post anything that I find interesting, or anything that I have learnt.
My passions involve dentistry, machine learning/AI development and art. I also enjoy psychology and mindfulness.
I am also working on Anthrodontics, a LLM frontier research and commercial company for Dentists 🦷 I write a monthly newsletter about my founder journey.
I am a polygot programmer. My current language of choice is Elixir, but I also dabble in AppleScript, Javascript, Python, Ruby, Go and Swift.
I lived a previous life as an iOS indie developer. My studio, Otherness, is currently on hiatus as I focus on Anthrodontics.
